We understand that plans change. The following schedule applies to all voyages. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking.

Safety Information

🛟 Life Rafts
Offshore-rated, automatically inflating life rafts sized for full guest capacity. Inspected and re-certified every three years.
📡 EPIRB & PLBs
Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacons registered with Transport Canada. Each crew member carries a Personal Locator Beacon.
🧥 Immersion Suits
SOLAS-approved immersion suits for all guests and crew. Full briefing and fitting prior to departure in polar waters.
🏥 Medical
Comprehensive first aid kit to offshore standard. At least one crew member holds current Wilderness First Responder certification.
⚓ Heavy Weather
All vessels are equipped with storm sails, sea anchors, and drogues for severe conditions. Crew trained in offshore heavy weather procedures.
📋 Safety Briefings
Mandatory safety briefing for all guests before departure including man-overboard, abandon ship, fire, and flooding procedures.

Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Deposit. A non-refundable deposit (as specified per voyage) is required to confirm your berth. Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit is received and a confirmation is issued by Expedition Experience.

2. Balance Payment. The remaining voyage balance is due no later than 90 days prior to departure. Failure to pay by this date may result in forfeiture of your berth without refund of deposit.

3. Travel Insurance. All guests are required to hold comprehensive travel insurance covering medical evacuation, trip cancellation, and voyage-related activities prior to departure.

4. Captain's Authority. The Captain has final authority over all matters of navigation, safety, and vessel operations. The Captain reserves the right to alter or cancel any itinerary element in the interests of safety without liability or refund obligation.

5. Physical Fitness. Guests are responsible for declaring any medical conditions or physical limitations at the time of booking. Expedition Experience reserves the right to decline a booking or require a medical certificate where appropriate.

6. Limitation of Liability. Participation in offshore expedition cruising involves inherent risks. By booking, guests acknowledge these risks and agree to the limitation of liability as set out in the booking agreement.

7. Governing Law. These terms are governed by the laws of Nova Scotia, Canada. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nova Scotia.
